    Aggression Replacement Training (ART)

    Providing social skill building for teenagers with anger and aggression management issues in the community and in the schools. A referral from Allegheny County Juvenile Probation is required for enrollment.

    Program Overview

    The Aggression Replacement Training (ART) program is an evidence-based curriculum designed for teenagers who need help managing their anger. We use scientifically proven methods to help participants build the skills they need to manage anger in social settings through skill-streaming, anger-control training, and moral reasoning training. The program lasts for 10 weeks, with participants typically attending three one-hour sessions each week for a total of 30 hours. Participants must be referred through Allegheny County Juvenile Probation.

    Eligibility Requirements
    A referral is required from Allegheny County Juvenile Probation.

    Participant is 12-18 years of age
