New Ken Downtown Partnership Fresh Food Shuttle
Providing a free food shuttle for the New Kensington and Arnold communities with options to shop at several different markets.
Wesley Family Services, in partnership with the New Ken Downtown Partnership (NKDP), Westmoreland Community Action, and Westmoreland County DHS/Commissioners, operates the grocery shuttle. The free shuttle is available to provide transportation for residents to easily access fresh and healthy food from neighborhood grocery stores in their local community.
How it works
The fresh food shuttle will run every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Riders must be 18 or older and can bring up to four (4) bags on the shuttle. To schedule a pick up or for more information, please call or complete the Get In Touch form below.
What Stores are Involved
- Golden Dawn
- Walmart
- Aldi’s (Tarentum & New Kensington Locations)
- Local Food Banks (Salvation Army, Mt. St. Peter Church, St. George Orthodox Church)
Riders must be 18 years or older
All shuttles are smoke-free
