Training & Skill Enhancement Program

An innovative take on professional development that focuses on the growth & wellness of the whole person.

Our team of passionate, dedicated and talented professionals have worked to develop a unique program geared toward improving and amplifying the skill sets of individuals by delivering meaningful and beneficial workshops focused on mental health, behavioral health and wellness.

We have engaged in hundreds of conversations surrounding the need for wellness in the realm of professional development for teachers, nurses, counselors, socials workers, administrators, coaches, clubs, agencies and organizations.

We truly believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard and valued. By engaging in workshops, team-building exercises and consultations, we can help you and your team recapture the motivation and inspiration to move forward and navigate today’s challenging times.

"Kayla and the WFS initiatives helped us to offer applicable topics to our staff that met their requested needs. The presentation was designed after conversations with us. It was applicable to the classroom, was interactive, relatable to events that teachers actually experience, and gave suggestions and ideas as takeaways. We appreciated Kayla's warm and caring demeanor."
— Principal, McCullough Elementary School
"The impact of her work was overwhelmingly positive, and our educators found her contributions to be extremely beneficial and timely. Kayla's professionalism, empathy, and expertise make her an exceptional resource in the field of mental wellness and staff development."
— Assistant Superintendent, Penn Trafford School District
“Participating in the WFS Wellness Training and Skill Enhancement Program has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The strategies I learned have not only supported my own well-being but have also been easy to implement in my classroom, helping my students manage stress, stay focused, and build positive habits.”
— Teacher, Southmoreland Middle School
"Educators are guilty of putting others first. This program gave us permission to make ourselves a priority. We work with students to help build skills but don't always practice what we preach. We needed to hear that it's OK to do it for ourselves and this program did that!"
— Counselor, Penn Trafford High School

Supporting the Supporters

After decades supporting children, teens, and adults across home, school, and community, we saw a crucial need: helping professionals prioritize their own wellness. Too often, caregivers put others first, leading to burnout and stress. You deserve to be well, too.

Our program supports professionals of all backgrounds with mindful strategies you can incorporate into your own life—helping you stay calm, balanced, and resilient—while also equipping you to better support those you serve in schools and other organizations. Because your well-being matters, and so does theirs.

q
The workshop was balanced…it emphasized reasoning and strategies for disregulated behaviors, but did not dismiss or excuse student accountability.
