    Veterans Helping Hand Fund

    Providing emergency assistance for adults 18+ with a history of service in the military in the home or community . A referral is not required for enrollment.

    Program Overview

    Military Veterans Helping Hand Fund
    Wesley Family Services has established a Veterans Helping Hand Fund to empower our local Veterans who are in need of emergency assistance.

    Because of private donations made by local community organizations, fundraisers, and veterans organizations, we are able to provide support to our local veterans for:

    • Utility assistance
    • Food
    • Clothing
    • Housing assistance
    • Other emergency needs
    Eligibility Requirements
    DD214 form with at least one day of active duty service, or VA ID card; eviction letter from landlord, or family member or emergency shelter letter; income qualify at 50% of average median income for Westmoreland County.
