Before you go, can I ask you to consider one more thing today?
At Wesley Family Services, we care about the seniors in the communities that we serve and their families. We are called to serve our aging adults and provide them with the dignity and respect they have earned.

That’s why we developed a senior care program in our community that provides seniors with a full life of purpose, love, and support. We provide them with safe housing, transit to doctors appointments, meals, a community experience and give them mentorship opportunities to young adults.

However, there are many more older adults in our community who don’t need our direct support to be cared for in this way. They prefer and would be perfectly capable of living in their own homes without our direct involvement and support.

But the problem is that many of them don’t have the materials they need to live safely in their own homes.

This is why we have developed a Senior Safety Kit program.

These Senior Safety Kits and our programs allow us to:

  • Install grab bars along stairs inside and outside of a senior’s home.
  • Support the creation of new resources like this and keep them free for those who seek help.
  • Provide shower seats for every bath or shower in a senior’s home.
  • Place rubber mats in every bath or shower in a senior’s home.
  • Install brand new smoke detectors in a senior’s home.
  • Supply essential food for a senior who can’t make it to the grocery store.
  • Arrange travel to doctor’s appointments for seniors who aren’t capable of driving themselves anymore.
  • … and much, much more!

Here’s what we need your help with today: We have dozens of seniors on a waiting list to receive their Senior Safety Kits because there isn’t enough funding in place to get them their kits.

Because this program is funded by donors, we’re looking for a handful of generous people who have a heart for the senior community that could get these kits to awaiting seniors right away.

Would you consider making a tax-deductible donation today to help a senior get these items?

Each kit costs approximately $250, but a generous gift in any amount that your means will allow would be gratefully appreciated. Most people who chose to give to this program choose to chip in $50 to help a senior get their kit.

Will you give a senior the gift of independence and safety with your generous donation today? If so, please use the secure donation form below to make your gift right now.

On behalf of a deserving senior who wants to live in their own home: THANK YOU for your generous support today!
