This training will help Staff support dual-eligible (Medicare/Medicaid) clients who may have lost extra benefits due to new SSBCI rules starting in 2026. Staff will learn how to contact insurance carriers to check eligibility, keeping in mind that SSBCI criteria vary by plan.
The workshop will also review Medicare Advantage open enrollment through March 31, and how Staff can help clients explore plan options before choices become limited.
