Why is sleep so important to your physical and mental health?
Join us for Sleep 101 in the WFS Wellness Center, in-person or via Zoom.
Contrary to our quiet physical state, the brain is very active during sleep, carrying out many important functions. Sleep is essential to every process in the body, affecting or physical and mental functioning the next day, our ability to fight disease and develop immunity, and our metabolism and chronic disease risk. Sleep is truly interdisciplinary because it touches every aspect of health.
To find out how what eat impacts our sleep, the impact that time changes affect our sleep, why is sleep important for our mental health, and other topics, come to the WFS Wellness Center in-person or join us via Zoom to have all your questions answered.
